I had a great experience in Marciaso. It was my first volunteering, Marco is a really nice person and the daily tasks were perfect. If you are a creative person, this is definitely a place where you'd want to stay.

Marco was a wonderful host and the surrounding areas were beautiful, a nice historical village in the mountains. He brought us all over town and the nearby nature parks to see all the amazing local sights. He seems to be quite well known locally so we often met friends of his. If you're into restoration and building or sometimes painting and decorating, this is a good place.

Easily one of the best experiences I had so far! Marco and the town Marciaso will forever hold a special place in my heart. I met some of the loveliest volunteers, and Marco made the space super open, fun, and always made sure we were all okay. I loved cooking meals together with everyone and sharing fun experiences. The day to day tasks can vary, and Marco always makes the effort to show the beauty of the Tuscan country to us and what it has to offer!

Marco is kind and wants volunteers to experience his local region. From hikes, swimming at costal spots, events to eating out. I wish I had learnt more Italian before my visit so I could have communicated better.
I was really fortunate to have volunteered at the same time as a bunch of the loveliest people! Loved the adventures we got to experience, meals we got to share preparing (balsamic glasse) and most of all the companionship/conversation. Work is varied from cleaning, yard work to painting/decorating. Village of Marciaso is peaceful with spectacular views of mountains. Grazie Marco!

It was a truly wholesome, memorable experience through which I could learn so much, grow and at the same just enjoy every moment to its fullest!
Marco is an incredibly generous and selfless host who expects nothing in return except for a little gratitude, openness, and a genuine willingness to enjoy the experience. He took us to so many wonderful places, showed us the beautiful area in which he lives and created many lifelong memories for all of us!
