My experience as a volunteer at the hostel's the hostel Kutaisi was amazing ! The work load was as agreed, I mostly had the night shifts, but could also cover the morning shifts from time to time if needed. Riccardo communicates greatly with the volunteers about what work needs to be done and what he expects of us. Cooking dinner with the other volunteers was my favorite part of the day, always really fun and felt like family away from home for the 2 months I stayed there💗 The house is amazing, and the facilities are great! I WILL miss the garden and the rooftop! Thank you again Riccardo:)

My experience as a cook at the hostel was truly wonderful! I loved meeting travelers from all over the world, connecting with locals, and enjoying the beauty of nature around the hostel. The job schedule was always clear and respected, which made it easy to balance work and exploration. Riccardo was always respectful, kind, and supportive to all volunteers, creating a welcoming and positive environment. I'm grateful for this experience and would highly recommend volunteering at the hostel to anyone looking for adventure, cultural exchange, and a great team to work with!

Had a really good experience volunteering here. Riccardo was easy to work with. Everything felt clear and welcoming. The atmosphere at the hostel was relaxed but well-organized, as I was told by a few of the guests during my stay. I met a lot of amazing people. Would recommend to travelers/volunteers. It was great to explore Kutaisi and rural Georgia. It has a lot of interesting natural and cultural variety, as well as events happening throughout the year.

My time at the hostel could've been great, but agreed hours and tasks weren't followed. Additional work was added on my day off, last-minute changes made to meals I'd planned, and there was poor coordination around guests' dietary needs. Despite guests praising my cooking, lack of communication and added duties made the experience frustrating. When I tried leaving a review on WorldPackers, I was marked as a no-show, despite verifiable evidence to the contrary (reviews, messages). Of all the volunteer experiences you could be having, is this the one you want to spend your time doing?

Communication was very difficult as the volunteer didn’t speak English and relied on Google Translate, causing many misunderstandings. He left almost immediately after arrival, then was found hiding on the property without permission. This was unacceptable and unsafe. We had to ask him to leave. We advise other hosts to be cautious, as he did not respect agreements or rules.
