The Experience

In our country house we are looking for helping hands to bring to life a future campground and cabins. Tasks can vary over time, including pruning, perimeter cleaning, traditional picket fencing, planting fruit trees, irrigation, bioconstruction, as well as the daily tasks of a country house. No experience is required, only a love for nature and a desire to learn about mountain landscape design in an environment of respect, action, and mutual discovery. ✨

My first volunteering experience. The truth is I was amazed by EcheverrĂa, in the middle of the mountains. It is a place that teaches you first to breathe, because of the altitude, and then to connect with nature, to slow down and enjoy the simple things.

Fran is the ideal host: he makes you feel part from the very first moment, he includes you in every activity and teaches you with enormous patience. The most beautiful thing is to see how, little by little, you leave your small footprint in the place that hosts you. And Clovis, with his exquisite meals, ends up making the experience even more special.

Hello, travelers! I'm here to share a secret: the ideal volunteering truly exists and the star host is Francisco. ⛰️ I spent a few days that were a blessed experience by his side, filled with laughter, beautiful conversations and shared learning. Francisco is a sun, a being full of love and empathy, one of those wonderful people who make you feel at home from the first minute. The mountain environment is pure peace, ideal if you enjoy your solitary moments connecting with nature. I leave with the soul full of mountain silence and the heart full of love.

Volunteering at the farm is a return to oneself. A place of silence, tranquility, and that teaches you the simple life of the countryside. Francisco, the host, is an admirable being, always attentive and making you feel very comfortable and welcomed. Alongside his two aunts, they made me feel part of the family. I am very grateful to have met them and shared this time with them. There were many learnings, conversations and enriching exchanges that I will carry with me into eternity.

Frans Haus is located in the middle of nature, on a river between mountains. He was very attentive to making us feel comfortable, to have everything we needed, and for him it was very important that we were well. The work was completely doable and our well-being was always a priority. It was like a little family, the animals are super friendly, we went hiking a lot, walked around, played cards and Fran showed us a lot of the area. We felt very comfortable! It is important to shop in advance for the entire duration of the stay, because there is no way to do that there!
