We are looking for a social host at our hostel Laughing Leopard hostel located in Sigiriya!! This position involves greeting guests at check in, helping to organise tours, planning free activities, leading hikes and walks and planning night activities in the evenings (games night, quiz nights, karaoke etc). We also need some help with light house keeping duties during the day which include sweeping and laundry

The staffs were really friendly, and the work was very easy and comfortable for me. I truly enjoyed how kind and welcoming both the host and the staff were. The place is surrounded by nature, and every day has its own fun and memorable moments, lots of games. I really loved the atmosphere, the people, and the overall experience there.

The volunteer experience was very fun when the hostel was busy! We planned game nights and the vibe was great. The cook also make insane food, so we were looking forward to the meals every day. However, when the hostel is quiet, there is not much to do, so we just did some very light housekeeping. There is not much around, so make sure you bring some books or something to keep you busy on those quiet days.
