Even though the host Luca was very nice, there were a lot of small things that made this experience not too easy to enjoy. The place where volunteers sleep is anti-hygienic, and the bathroom is in bad condition. The Luca's mom is very rude to both guests and volunteers. The work is easy, but the tasks are not very clear sometimes. Regardless, Luca is trying to do his best, he's very kind, I hope he'll be able to upgrade the hostel the way he's envisioning it.

I had a good experience here. The location is beautiful and close to the beaches. The hosts, Luca and Flor, were friendly, polite, and always respected the agreed working hours. If I worked extra one day, it was balanced another day. Other volunteers, staff, and locals were all kind and easy to get along with. I stayed in the hostel dorm, which was small but comfortable, with cooking, laundry facilities, drinking water and good WiFi. Downsides were that the shared house (which I didn't stay in) seems to have a mould issue, and there is an older woman living there who some may find difficult.

I had a positive time volunteering here and worked with amazing people. The local community is fun, warm, and welcoming which made me extend my stay. The hostel itself is social and the surrounding beaches are beautiful. Luca is a supportive host. I'm not yet fluent in Spanish, but he was always patient and kind when explaining tasks. Unfortunately there is an older woman living at the hostel who was frequently rude to volunteers and guests. She purposely bumped into me on multiple occasions, spoke disrespectfully, and several people I had formed connections left early because of her.

My experience at El Triángulo was very calm and relaxing. I stayed for around ten days at the beginning of September, and since it was low season, the work was light and not demanding. I really enjoyed my stay, Luca is always super nice and ready to help with anything. Las Galeras is a magical place, full of beautiful beaches and many wonderful spots to discover.🌴

I had an incredible time volunteering at the hostel. Las Galeras is a small lovely town full of most wonderful paradise beaches. It's a peaceful place where you can take things slow and relax. The job is truly simple and light. Luca, the owner and supervisor is so understanding, flexible and patient. The work leaves you plenty of time to hang out and interact with the guests. The hostel itself is a nice space with a ping pong table and fussbol where the atmosphere is relaxed and everyone enjoys free time together. Volunteers stay in a room that is just a 2min walk away. Thank you Luca!
