There’s never a dull moment around here — there’s always something to do, discover or lend a hand with!
Depending on your interests and the needs of the moment, you might get involved in:
• Taking care of small maintenance jobs around the buildings
• Looking after the pool area and helping keep it welcoming for our guests
• Planting, gardening and taking care of the green spaces and plants around the estate
• Helping with housekeeping and keeping the hostel’s shared spaces clean, cosy and tidy
• Welcoming guests and helping with check-in and check-out
• Preparing and serving breakfasts, brunches and group meals, often using fresh vegetables harvested from our 100% organic gardens
• Helping set up spaces for conferences, workshops and events
• Taking part in the organisation of our cultural events
• Giving a hand in the vegetable farm or at the estate shop
• Getting creative with DIY projects and other hands-on activities
We love people who are curious, willing to learn and happy to get involved. You don’t need to know how to do everything — what matters most to us is your willingness to participate, share, learn and lend a hand where needed.
Every day is different, and that’s part of the adventure!
Activities & Shift
25 hours per week, to be arranged together during the week. Flexible
Rules
Accommodation is provided at the hostel. Shared dormitories
Our place is designed to be welcoming, open, and friendly. We like the idea that each resident can find their own balance in a shared space, without feeling obligated to socialize. The key to harmonious living is respecting each other’s rhythm.
We encourage interaction between residents, but never in a forced way. If you feel like it, sharing a meal or a drink can lead to beautiful connections! And if your experience in the vineyards is more about reconnecting with yourself, there are plenty of quiet spaces to enjoy.
A welcome booklet is available and outlines the house rules and guidelines for life at the hostel. You’ll be able to read through it when you get here.
Mutual respect is the foundation of co-living. We count on each resident to use common sense in respecting the shared spaces and everyone’s peace and quiet, so that we can all enjoy a pleasant and comfortable stay together.
