Description

To secure your spot, we require a deposit. This is fully refunded after completing the minimum 3 week stay. Any outstanding bar tab will be deducted at the end of your stay, and the remaining balance returned. You’ll also receive a Surf Town Hostel shirt on your first shift. If the minimum stay isn’t completed, the deposit is non-refundable.

The Experience

We’re looking for a high-energy, outgoing volunteer to help keep the vibes alive at Surf Town Hostel. You’ll run events like beer pong, beach trips, open mic, and movie nights, help out at the bar during busy times, and get guests socializing and having a great time. Best suited for someone social, confident, and thrives in a high-energy environment.

Only hosts solo volunteers (doesn’t accept couples or partners)

I loved volunteering at the Surftown hostel. The atmosphere is so relaxed, welcoming and easygoing, which makes it a really nice place to work and stay. The staff are definitely one of the best parts. Everyone is incredibly kind, friendly and fun to be around. We had so much fun together and they always made me feel welcome and appreciated. I never felt like I was bothering them or asking for too much - they were always happy to help and made me feel like part of the team. I'm really grateful for the experience and would absolutely recommend volunteering at this hostel.
