Working with the garden team was the best decision. Landscaping was our priority around the finca and it was always nice to see the progress at the end of each day. Do not hesitate to join the gardening team because someone also has to take care of the plants. Here you have to cook for yourself and you'll have a huge food storage for that. For me the most impactful activity here was food sorting, getting leftover fruits and vegetables and saving them from getting thrown away making a huge impact on our environment. Here you can truly experience an outstanding lifestyle 🌀

I liked the whole experience so much that that I decided to extend my stay. The owners are very nice, helpful and kind people. It's amazing to be part of this amazing project, that evolved over the past 5 years, from nothing to this little community with amazing people, surrounded by all the beautiful animals. I recommend everyone to do this experience.

I absolutely loved every second of my experience at the farm. The best people gather here. And the fact that you are surrounded by 500 animals every day is a dream for me. I helped the office team with content management and content overflow strategy, as well as some other office tasks. This place is best for people who like to take initiative and manage their work. It was hard to leave, I'll help out remotely with what I can and I hope to get a chance to come back soon❤️

My time at the farm has been one of the most unique and fundamentally fulfilling experiences in my life. While sometimes a bit chaotic, the cause that the owners have undertaken to help animals and what has been built from the ground-up since 2018 is something to be experienced to fully appreciate. The community of volunteers here from all over the world is like a second family, with everyone contributing unique skills and insights throughout the different teams. I would thoroughly recommend coming for at least two months as I have been here to fully emerse yourself.

What an amazing place, what they are doing here is awesome and unbelievable. Giving a home to abandoned animals, giving them love and a second chance to have a dignified life. I had such an incredible time there, met friends, got healthier mentally and physically, learned a lot about sustainability, and definitely, found there a better version of myself. The place is perfect for reconnecting with nature and reminding you what really matters in life.

It was my first experience volunteering outside my country and traveling alone. I was looking for a place that would make me connect with animals, nature and environmental awareness. The farm was that and more. A home away from home without a doubt. A beautiful human group, with people totally predisposed to help you and accompany you. I volunteered at the farm for the last month. It was an incredible experience. I was on the social media team, creating content for the Instagram. Very fun job with a lot of flexibility. Great energy between all us office girls, very supportive. I learned a lot from them & the other creators throughout my time here. I think it's important to be Internally motivated and have initiative as a lot of the time as there wasn't much guidance from management here. I had my tasks and I was trusted to get them done. Was a little daunting at first but good learning experience.

You must be ready to walk if you want to see the island (to reach the bus stop) and you must be ready to find not a vacation at the farm but a community where you feel needed and help by getting your hands dirty! The finca is a lifestyle not suited for everyone, but if it enters your heart it doesn't go away... the people you meet and the animals you help are special. Living on the finca lifts you from all the problems at home and you live lighter and more serene without the stress of normal life! It's an experience I recommend, but it's not for everyone
