The experience

As a volunteer you will support the organic cultivation of the vines, the wine-making, and the day-to-day life of a winery that operates with its own renewable energy, depending on the season (pruning, harvest, or vineyard work). Program Details

This volunteer program is a real exchange: you bring the enthusiasm and commitment, we offer you a place with history, learning about winemaking, and time to get to know and enjoy the surroundings. We are looking for proactive people, open to rolling up their sleeves when needed, but also to enjoy the pace of the Serranía.

We are looking for people who can stay for at least one month. The rush and natural wine don't mix well :P

On your days off you can visit nearby Júzcar (the famous blue village), the Genal Valley, and hike along beautiful trails.

Keep in mind this is a rural area and internet can sometimes be unstable.

This is an open and safe space for LGBTIQ+ people.

Activities & Shift

Schedules vary depending on the activity and the season: during harvest, for example, people usually start early (7-8am) and resume in the afternoon (6-7pm) to avoid the hottest hours; the rest of the activities take place during normal daytime hours. That's why we greatly value your flexibility.

Tasks vary by season: pruning, harvest, work in the winery, cleaning the house and surroundings, support in tastings, welcoming visitors. There will also be moments to cook and share the local gastronomy.
