The Experience

As a volunteer you will support the organic cultivation of the vines, the wine-making, and the day-to-day life of a winery that operates with its own renewable energy, depending on the season (pruning, harvest, or vineyard work). You will also help with the general maintenance of this great historic house (rooms, kitchen, common areas). Getting to know up close a project that revives a place with nearly three centuries of history.

I learned a lot, and had a meaningful time! This was an ideal place to both practice languages (many international travelers); and learn about sustainable farming, natural vineyards, and all kinds of practical and eco-friendly ways of working and living together. Enrique is a consummate host, and treats his volunteers with the utmost respect. He finds opportunities for them to showcase their various and unique talents, and is very generous in caring for their individual needs. The grounds are lovely, on a river; with a cute nearby pueblo to visit as well. I hope to return in future!

Enrique is an incredible host, always attentive to all the volunteers, a cultured, kind person who appreciates multiculturalism. I highly recommend coming to the vineyard factory, a place surrounded by nature and a beautiful hacienda, very comfortable and with a great atmosphere. I learned a lot about sustainability and wine; the work is relaxed and adapted to the tranquil lifestyle, you truly feel like you’re at home. If you have the opportunity, I highly recommend it. Thanks likewise to Aguilucho for all the amazing food and the laughs. I hope to return soon 🤞🏼

My experience at the Factory was very enriching. The place is idyllic, full of history and immersed in nature. The stay is peaceful and the tasks are simple.
The host, Enrique, is a charming person with an important life background. At all times he was very kind, courteous and willing to help.
It was a good experience: I met people from different parts of the world, I was able to get closer to the wine production process for the first time and I enjoyed a privileged environment. I only have words of gratitude and I hope this beautiful project continues to move forward with strength.

An incredible and unforgettable experience, Enrique is a genius with a lot of patience who knows how to understand everyone. All the people I lived with were great, highlighting aguilucho as a genius, always making you laugh, teaching you above all what he knows, and if he doesn't know it, he learns it and teaches it to you. Truly a unique experience that makes you want to come back; I would definitely recommend it 100%.

My volunteering in the vineyards was amazing. The tasks were very easy and at a very relaxed pace, ideal for enjoying and learning about wines without pressure.

It's a very nice place, surrounded by nature, perfect to disconnect and connect with the land. I felt very at peace all the time.

Heartfelt thanks to the host Enrique for welcoming me so beautifully, for your trust and patience. And thanks to Aguilucho, who is a good person, noble and always willing to help.

I recommend it 100%, it's a special place. I hope to return soon.
