My experience at Cristina's the farm was an amazing one. She is a lovely human being with a strong vision. I felt comfortable and accepted here. Cristina treated us all with compassion and like family. The work is fun and simple. We did some painting, some simple organizing in the yard, and basic yard gardening (like weeding and raking leaves). We usually worked for about 5 hours in the morning and then had lunch around 2pm and after lunch we were finished for the day. I would recommend this to solo travelers as we ate our meals together and it is community oriented!
