My experience with Amber was excellent she guided me through all of the tasks answering any questions I had she really made me feel like a member of the family and also facilitated my exploration of the local area on my days off. As my first volunteer experience I could not have asked for a better one. I Highly recommend volunteering at Ambers place it was a privilege of mine.

My time with Amber was wonderful and enriching. I lived with her, her husband, and their cat, and worked in the home during the day. Tasks were clearly communicated, and I enjoyed the work. Both the home and the home are beautiful, and the room I had was incredibly cozy. Amber takes care of everything and makes you feel right at home. The meals were always delicious, healthy, and locally sourced. Conversations with Amber were very interesting, and I learned a lot from her. I will cherish the memories and am grateful to have been there. Thank you! 🫶

Amber and Ish were super welcoming and provide a really comfortable and cosy stay. The work is well communicated and not repetitive. If you are looking for a comfortable stay with cosy bedroom and hot shower I recommend! Thank you for teaching me some new techniques, answering all my questions and nice vegan dinners <3 much appreciated

I had an amazing time with Amber and Ish. Amber made a real effort to teach me a lot. The tasks varied from gardening, planting trees, painting over preserving or dehydrating apples and other fruit. They cooked very nice food and we spend most evenings together eating and having good conversations.

It's a amazing experience for me being with Amber, Ish and their little cat Sakima. They were so careful and lovely from the start to the end of my stay. I've learned so much things about New Zealand, history, enviroment, and english. They have a beaultiful house and a calm life's style which you can see on everything that they do. In addition, I helped them with repairing, plating, gardening, and painting activities. Also, all the meals were tasty and healthy. I had a wonderful good time with them and I hope have more opportunity to come back. They have a great sense of humor as well lol :)
