Program Details

We expect volunteers to be respectful, open-minded, and willing to be part of our daily life on the coffee farm. Tasks may include light gardening, helping with simple farm activities, basic cleaning, and occasionally assisting with guests. The workload is around 4 to 5 hours per day, 5 days a week.

We value a positive attitude, responsibility, and good communication. Being adaptable and comfortable with a simple village lifestyle is important.

In return, you can expect a welcoming and supportive environment where you are treated like part of the community. We provide a simple but comfortable place to stay, home cooked meals, and the opportunity to experience authentic village life, learn about coffee farming, and enjoy a slower, more meaningful daily rhythm.

Activities & Shift

Daily Activities & Shift

Volunteers are expected to participate in light daily tasks that support both the coffee farm and the household. Activities may include:

* Light gardening (watering plants, weeding, basic plant care)
* Assisting with simple coffee farm tasks (harvesting, drying beans, sorting) depending on the season
* Basic cleaning (shared spaces, kitchen, volunteer area)
* Helping with small household duties
* Occasionally assisting with guests (welcoming, simple preparation)

Shift & Schedule

* Working hours are approximately 4–5 hours per day
* 5 days per week, with 2 days off (flexible, can be discussed together)
* Shifts are usually in the morning and/or late afternoon, depending on weather and farm needs
* Midday is generally free for rest or personal time

We aim to keep the schedule balanced and flexible, while maintaining a respectful and cooperative environment. Volunteers are encouraged to communicate openly so we can adjust tasks when needed.

Rules

House Rules & Expectations

To keep a harmonious and respectful environment for everyone, we kindly ask all volunteers to follow these simple guidelines:

* Respect local culture and community – This is a village environment, so modest behavior and cultural sensitivity are important.
* No drugs or excessive alcohol consumption – We maintain a healthy and safe space for everyone.
* Keep shared spaces clean – Please clean up after yourself and contribute to maintaining common areas.
* Be responsible and communicate openly – Let us know if you have any issues, delays, or changes in your plans.
* Respect working hours and commitments – Be punctual and engaged during agreed tasks.
* Quiet hours at night – To respect others, especially in a rural setting, please keep noise to a minimum at night.
* Eco-friendly mindset – Help us reduce waste, save water, and respect nature around the farm.

We aim to create a friendly, respectful, and supportive environment where everyone feels comfortable and part of the community.
