The Experience

This is a place with a river, a lake, small waterfalls, and animals. We work with holistic therapies, and we give 1 session to guests, as well as hosting campfires, etc. But if you don't identify with that, you don't need to participate. For this specific vacancy, there won't be work on the site, but helping us with Social Media, paid traffic, etc... in order to help us grow on the internet in followers and sales.

I had an amazing experience at the farm Águas. Tiago, the host, is an incredible person, a very spiritual person who is always ready to help. The country-side place is really nice, with ducks, chickens, dogs and guesses, also, lots of wild birds, fauna and flora. There's a little water stream that runs thru the property with a little waterfall that makes the experience even more spectacular. Carlene and her daughter are very welcoming and they baked cakes for everyone and we all played cards a few times during my stay. Guilhermo the other volunteer is a really nice guy. I loved the experience

It was a wonderful experience; I even had to stay there because my kombi wouldn't get out from down there where the farm is. (Be careful if you travel with a heavy motorhome.) Well, I stayed there and it was a very enriching experience; the internet is also good and allowed me to work. While I was there I began giving Spanish classes, I started a vegetable garden, I cared for the animals, I mowed the grass, pruned plants, I built structures, in short, it was a complete experience. I recommend stopping by to meet Carlene, Tiago and Mikahele.

My experience was great, it's a very quiet place that allows you to be at peace and connect with nature, there are some trails to hike, the area is remote and it was exactly what I needed. The little house where the volunteers stay is very pretty, it has a bathroom, 2 beds and electricity. Carlene and Tiago are people with good intentions who treated us with a lot of respect. My dog and I spent very nice days here that helped us gain strength and reorganize to continue our trip. It was my first experience with WP, and it was a portal that opened up inside me.

I am used to the hustle and bustle of urban life, and volunteering at this place (the farm Águas) was something that added value and some lessons, among them one was to distance myself from internet addiction. Being in the countryside made me slow down the daily anxiety. As for the place, I plan to return, including in tourist situations... As for the hosts representing Tiago and Carlene, they were wonderful, attentive, helpful, in short I have no shortage of adjectives to praise them. I highly recommend.

This was my first volunteering experience and it was fantastic, Carlene and Tiago did a great job to make the experience incredible, the space is really renewing, I had a "mental detox" at the site, I recommend to everyone who seeks to connect more with nature and especially with myself
