🛠️ General hands-on help during the day, including construction, clearing around the farm, planting, and other practical tasks
🌿 This role is ideal for someone who enjoys outdoor work, learning by doing, and living in a remote natural setting.
🌴 You may also be able to harvest fruits yourself, including bananas, pineapples, coconuts, papayas, and sugar cane — creating a real harvest-to-table experience that is one of the main reasons people are drawn to this place.
🎣 On a weekly or biweekly basis, there may also be the opportunity to join big game fishing trips using island-made lures, targeting tuna, mahi-mahi, and marlin. This is part of a special catch-to-table experience that many people find deeply rewarding.

💧 Hydraulic ram pump
🥥 Raw virgin coconut oil - from drying to pressing

🙌 This place has a lot to offer, but it is best suited to the right mindset — someone practical, proactive, respectful of nature, and genuinely inspired by off-grid island life, meaningful hands-on help, and the rare experience of both catch-to-table and harvest-to-table living.
🏡 Living conditions :
- 🛏️ Very simple accommodation in a bungalow with double bunk beds or in a ranchito with an ocean view
- 🚿 Running water ~ 50 liters per day
- 🚿 Shower
-💧 Drinking water ( directly, or filer or Bekrey filter )
-🔥 Gas cooker
-☀️ Solar electricity during the day only, usually around 4–6 hours
-📶 Unlimited Starlink internet, available 24/7
-🚽 Compost toilet
-🌴 A very remote setting, with no nearby shops, bars, or other residents
Rules
- In general good work ethics
- eagerness to help
- all the prep tools, charge batteries, site, etc work will be later managed by volunteers themselves, to prep day ahead ( but maximum 1 hour from working hours )
- commuting, hike time 10-30min, from your location to site of work, is outside of working hours
- No drinking
- No smoking
- No phone during work hours
- No animal based derivatives on island ( meat, eggs, milk, derived snacks etc ), catching fish occasionally ( few times a week ) is ok ( but cleaning it outside of common areas )
⚠️Most of the work is manual labor, on intense sun or in reasonable rain is very common to work here.
⚠️ This is a very remote place, with no nearby shops, bars, or other residents. It is best for someone genuinely inspired by off-grid island life, practical help, and the rare mix of catch-to-table and harvest-to-table living.
⚠️ Please note: travel to the mainland is neither simple nor cheap. While we can synchronize together, and you can hop on our scheduled boat, but it is not granted and if deciding to leave other than official agreed date we dont contribute to boat cost unless prior agreement made. Good to know, that same-day round trip is around $160, due to fuel, boat and engine maintenance, and the time required for both captain and helper. Reaching the island takes around 90–120 minutes by boat, and transport is not available with tourist-style frequency in and out. Because of this, this role is best for someone who genuinely wants this experience, rather than someone simply looking for a cheap place to stay.
