Also Tim's sister, Daphne, lives close and she is just as lovely and fun and made the experience even more memorable The work hours were always respected and the chores were just as we agreed on. Everything was so lovely that I wished I had more than one month to stay! 💜

I spent 3 weeks in Abbekerk, and I was genuinely sad to leave the villa. From the very first day, Tim and his family made me feel completely at home and welcomed me as if I were part of the family. Their kindness and hospitality made my stay truly special. The villa is beautiful and peaceful, with a warm and authentic atmosphere. It was a truly personal experience that I will always remember.

Tim is a wonderful host who knows how to make both his guests and volunteers feel welcome. You immediately feel appreciated and valued! We had a wonderful month at the guest house! Tim is an incredibly welcoming, easy-going host who makes delicious cakes and healthy shakes. The work is very manageable—my boyfriend did some great carpentry work (making bedsteeën) and I loved baking a few cakes there. You get plenty of free time to canoe, explore, or relax on the new garden swing. It was also great meeting guests, having family dinners, and doing extra paid work at his mum's farm. The place is in development and highly recommended!
