Hello! 1,5 year ago I fulfilled my dream and bought a large historical villa. I turned it into a bed & breakfast and it's fully booked every night! It's located in a picturesque village, 30 minutes from Amsterdam. Im looking for help with cleaning & gardening (6 days per week, 2,5 hours per day) A fun fact: I've often been a volunteer myself when I travel the world! Availability from 10th of March 2027!

I will cherish my time at the villa greatly! The work is very straight forward and surprisingly meditative! Tim makes you feel at home right away. I had a lot of free time to work on personal projects and explore surrounding towns on the bike :) can't wait to come back!! It honestly felt more like an artist residency <3

Living in the guest house was the best experience I could have as my first one on world packers! The villa is lovely and Tim is so kind, understanding, and fun to be around. Also Tim's sister, Daphne, lives close and she is just as lovely and fun and made the experience even more memorable The work hours were always respected and the chores were just as we agreed on. Everything was so lovely that I wished I had more than one month to stay! 💜

I spent 3 weeks in Abbekerk, and I was genuinely sad to leave the villa. From the very first day, Tim and his family made me feel completely at home and welcomed me as if I were part of the family. Their kindness and hospitality made my stay truly special. The villa is beautiful and peaceful, with a warm and authentic atmosphere. It was a truly personal experience that I will always remember.
The work is easy and you have plenty of free time to explore!
If you'd like to know Dutch people and culture in an authentic way, I couldn't recommend this place more - I hope to come back!!

What an amazing experience! Tim is a wonderful host—warm, generous, and, above all, incredibly witty. I truly feel that I've gained a new friend through this experience. The work is straightforward, and the surroundings are absolutely beautiful, making it a perfect place to spend the summer. I couldn't recommend this opportunity more highly, especially for anyone who loves thrifting and discovering unique treasures. It's a memorable experience from start to finish. I'll definitely will be coming back. Can't wait ☺️

Tim is a wonderful host who knows how to make both his guests and volunteers feel welcome. You immediately feel appreciated and valued! As for the work, it's really not difficult, and everything will be explained to you in detail :) On top of that, the villa and the surrounding area are absolutely beautiful.
