Join our brand-new social hostel in Copacabana, opened in May 2026! We're looking for responsible, proactive volunteers who enjoy meeting people, creating a fun atmosphere, and helping us build an unforgettable hostel experience. It would be 4 days reception, 1 days cleaning & 2 free days. (the hostel owners are involved in all those activities as well!) You'll get a bed in a shared dorm and a simple breakfast.

The owners of the hostel were super friendly (took me to the hospital when I had a medical problem).
Why I gave the hostel this rating is more so for the facilities/the organisation than the hosts themselves. I understand they recently opened, but I feel I was given unclear instructions on what/how I had to clean, and the supplies were faulty.
Kitchen was super small and hard to cook (makes you waste money eating outside).
There was also just not enough leadership+bad vibes between some others, but I‘m still grateful for the opportunity

And the best part of it all is two people, human beings and so much more; I was privileged to meet them, A ideia era 2 semanas mas foi indo.. extended.. fiquei até dia 10 Agnes super hospitaleira, prestativa, é engraçada. e o Diego divertidÃssimo, atencioso e batalhador. Ale do mais o ambiente promove cultura e te inclui, de graça. Passeios como trilhas entre outros. Só a fofoca do Felipe(voluntário) q é chata mas eles sabem lidar bem com isso tbm e já está de saÃda então aproveitem!!! Colecionei bons momentos foi um prestÃgio p min nd disso seria igual sem vcs. An incredible experience!
Agnes and Diego were fantastic hosts; it was a pleasure to be part of this project.
The hostel has an excellent location, close to the beach and to several shops and supermarkets.
The tasks are very relaxed and there is plenty of free time.
