Program Details

**We offer** a camping area and caravan accommodation (subject to availability), as well as **three meals a day**. One of them we always share as a community moment to come together and celebrate; the other two can be done freely according to each person's needs.

In addition to collaborating in the different areas of the project, all people who live temporarily at IKI-GAIA participate in the tasks that make daily life possible: preparing the community meal, caring for and maintaining the shared spaces, harvesting from the garden, and addressing other common needs. These hours are independent of the time spent on specific projects and we organize them with flexibility, adapting to the number of people, needs, and talents of each person.

More than a volunteer opportunity, we offer the chance to be part of a living territorial regeneration project, where we integrate ecosystem restoration, regenerative and sintrópica agriculture, water management, bioconstruction, regenerative education, and the development of a future **School of Permaculture, Bioconstruction and Regeneration**.

We especially seek **entrepreneurial people, with initiative and a desire to co-create**, who want to develop their talents while contributing to a project of **rural repopulation**. Our purpose is to lay the foundations for a future **eco-village, healthy**, conceived as a **healing biotope**, where the regeneration of nature, people and the local economy advances together.

We believe the best way to discover if this project resonates with you is to experience it from the inside for at least 3/6 months, but sometimes we open up to volunteers who can contribute value for at least 1 month or even less if you are handy, resourceful and a pioneer!

Activities & Shift

> **Tasks vary depending on the time of year, the needs of the project, and the talents and interests of each person.** You can contribute to the ecological garden and regenerative agriculture, sintrópica agriculture, planting and pruning trees, hydric design and restoration of ecosystems, processing and preserving foods, community cooking, general maintenance of infrastructures and spaces, painting, carpentry, and **bioconstruction**. We also support the organization of events, welcoming visitors, communication and content creation.
>
> Throughout the year we organize **practical days and trainings** on sintrópica agriculture, tree pruning, hydric design, bioconstruction, agroforestry, water management and, in general, everything related to **Applied Permaculture** and the development of a holistic territorial regeneration project. We seek that each person can contribute where they generate the most value while learning new skills, developing their own talents and becoming part of an entrepreneurship and rural repopulation project with demonstrative vocation.

Contribution to the project: Monday to Friday, 6 hours daily.
