I had the best time in Castel del Rio! I would totally recommend it to anyone who loves nature, hiking, swimming in the river. If you wanna rest a bit from the big city rush, slow down and recharge batteries this is the perfect place for you. Every day I became more convinced that this place is a little paradise. Lisa is really kind and always cared for me during my stay. That was my first time doing work exchange and she made me feel welcome and I didn't feel left alone at all. I always knew that she would help me if I needed. The work wasn't hard, I had a lot of free time to enjoy life there

This volunteer experience was amazing for me! Lisa is an excellent host, she listen to the suggestions and the work schedule is fair. My tasks were to keep the bathroom clean, water the plants and sometimes help with welcoming the guests. It is a great place to disconnect from the "big city vibe", there's a river closer to the camping when you can go swim everyday. Castel del Rio is very peacefull, there's a historic museum and some hikings that you can do around. I also went on a kayak ride with Lisa, it was awesome!

My experience at the camping was amazing, and I would recommend it to anyone! Lisa is very kind and helpful, everything was how we agreed, and she doesn't ask for a lot of work – my task was helping with watering the plants and cleaning the bathrooms. In exchange, I received a lot of free time to spend around the camp or travelling to other cities. I would really recommend this volunteering; it is in a nice, calm environment of a small campsite, you get to meet a lot of people, and Lisa is open to practising your Italian with you. I had a truly wonderful time, I am glad for the time there!
