Hey travelers! Balkan Hostel in Tirana is looking for a fun, energetic volunteer to help us create a great atmosphere, host courtyard events, and entertain guests. We offer a fair, balanced exchange: you will help out for 25 hours per week with 2 full days off to explore Tirana and Albania. In return, we provide a comfortable bed in our mixed shared dorm, free daily breakfast, fast high speed Wi-Fi throughout the property, full access to our kitchen facilities, and free laundry service once a week.
Your shifts will be spread across 5 days a week. The focus is mostly on late afternoons and evenings hanging out with guests, hosting courtyard events, mixing easy drinks at the bar, and keeping the social atmosphere alive. You will only cover reception occasionally for late arrivals or staff days off. Because shifts are mostly in the evenings, you’ll have plenty of daytime and reliable internet if you want to work on personal projects or stay connected with home.
