My experience as a volunteer was truly special. I felt warmly welcomed by the whole family and had the opportunity to experience the local culture in an authentic way.I learned so much from my hosts, especially Linda, who is an excellent teacher. Her creative and dynamic teaching methods gave me valuable insights into language learning and teaching. And their two amazing daughters, Dora and Lele, are truly one of a kind, and I will always remember them with so much affection. I'm very grateful for this experience, all the beautiful memories I'll carry with me!

Although my time here was short, i enjoyed it fully. linda and mr wu welcomed me into their homes and treated me so well. dora and lele are wonderful children, so bright and full of questions. linda is an amazing woman who does so much for the children in her community and is an inspiration. mr wu is an amazing cook and so interested in other parts of the world and life. the work is rewarding and i hope to visit lijiang again

The experience was enriching and I had the opportunity to meet and connect with locals and to better understand the culture. Linda was very helpful and always willing to assist, even with things not related to volunteering. I felt welcomed by the whole family. The children are the best part, and I had a lot of fun in the moments with them. I enjoyed it because I had the opportunity to learn and also to teach in relaxed, informal ways, which also helps me connect better with the children.
