I had a great time at this hostel. The host and coworkers are very friendly and the hostel itself is comfortable and clean. The terrace is on the rooftop is amazing to hang out as well :) The work itself is quite chill and in line with what is stated on the website.

Volunteering at the hostel was one of the easiest and most enjoyable volunteering experiences I've ever had. The team was amazing, and everyone genuinely cares about making you feel happy, welcome, and fulfilled. They also make a real effort to help you learn Spanish and improve your language skills. I highly recommend this experience to anyone looking for a welcoming environment, great people, and an opportunity to learn and grow!

Amazing two weeks in the hostel, thank you Nacho and your team for making me feel at home right away. Shifts usually gives you the whole day off to explore beauriful almeria and tasks are easy.🏖️🌆 Helps a lot if you know spanish but I survived even though I don't speak it. Highly recommended experience, I also met a lot of lovely people during my stay and even got a chance to leave to a different adventure in the middle of my stay, thank you Nacho for your flexibility <3

Had a great time! The team is super friendly and always available to help. Weekly schedule is planned beforehand. There are two possible shifts: night shift till 4 (staying at reception helping guests) and day shift (cleaning kitchen in the morning, working on the terrace in the evening). The work in itself is very very easy, it can get a little tough sometimes because of the alternating night and day shifts. The place is a mix of hotel-hostel, so there are also many families staying and it's very chill vibe. Overall it was still possible to meet interesting guests! And speak a lot of spanish!

This was a good first Worldpackers experience! Nacho and all of the other staff were very welcoming and friendly, and our schedules were clear and determined ahead of time. We either had to work a late night reception shift, early morning cleaning shift, or evening shift selling beer to guests on the terrace. The work was never too bad but the hours weren't great for a consistent sleep schedule. The hostel itself is very nice, cozy, and clean! It has a nice common space (although I would not call it social) and well equipped kitchen. I'd recommend renting a car to get out of Almería!
