My time at the hostel was absolutely incredible. I felt so welcomed here and it truly feels like home now. Everyone I worked with and met were so friendly, welcoming, and fun. The managers are so kind and helpful, look out for you, and are there to help always. I had such a good group of volunteers who quickly became lifelong friends and truly couldn't have asked for a better experience. I wish I could have extended my stay <3 The work is also fun and although there is lots of information and moving pieces it is well explained and not difficult to learn. 10/10 would recommend

My time at the hostel was amazing! The work was fun and not difficult- managers and other volunteers were always there to help when you needed it. Staff and guests are very social, it's in an amazing location, and the benefits are great- all three meals, yoga classes, hikes, and discounts on so much more. I truly enjoyed every shift. I would recommend this experience to anyone!

I had a great time volunteering at the hostel! The work is easy and enjoyable, with plenty of free time to explore! Lake Atitlán is such a magical place even in the rainy season, and the hostel itself is beautiful. The room I stayed in was comfortable, we had 3 free and homemade meals a day and we also got lots of discounts on food, drinks, and activities. The other volunteers made the experience unforgettable, and the managers were always flexible and tried to accommodate everyone's schedules. I'd definitely recommend volunteering here :)

My time at the hostel has been unforgettable, the people here are amazing and it truly is a home away from home that i can see myself coming back to. The food is great, the shifts are very straightforward and there is always something to do outside of work, wether you want to go for a swim at the dock, catch a boat to another town or just hang around the hostel. The management team are very good at what they do and always available to help. Always felt very supported! Highly reccomend this volunteer experience

Volunteering at the hostel is definitely an experience i won't forget. The place and facilities are absolutely gorgeous and the view of the lake never gets old. The shifts are fun and flexible and the food is incredible with veggie options to every meal. You get to explore all around the lake and never be bored. But most of all it's the people here that makes every moment so memorable. It has such an amazing sense of family and community and my time at the hostel was genuinely some of my happiest. Ready to come back for more days with dice, swimming by the dock and laughing the nights away 🧀

Volunteering at the hostel was an incredible experience. I had the best time, met the most amazing people and created lifelong memories. I felt so welcomed by the whole team and grew so much confidence throughout my stay. The shifts are very straightforward and always fun as you're working with your friends! The hostel has such a special sense of family and community and the views of the lake are stunning. The food is also great with very good options for vegetarians too. I extended to stay an extra week and I honestly could have stayed even longer. Forever grateful for this experience.

It's really, really hard to describe how Incredible this place is. A good testament is that I'm writing this while working, because I extended my stay by several weeks. Most people do. The shifts are easy and straightforward, and FUN. You meet the most incredible people. You have the most beautiful view every morning. You get delicious food. You get a new family. You make the most incredible friends. Leaving here is the worst part of the job, honestly. Thank you for everything, the hostel. This has been the most beautiful experience.

Volunteering at the hostel was the most incredible experience and genuinely one of the happiest times of my life. The hostel's homely vibe, the nature, the views, the music nights, the food, but most of all the people there make every moment so special. I was initially apprehensive about the 6 week commitment but I honestly feel like I could easily have stayed for 6 months! I have come away with a heart full of memories and friends for life and I feel incredibly grateful to have had the experience. Would recommend to anyone and everyone, and hope I will be able to come back!
