I really enjoyed my stay here, so much that i'm extending! the place is really beautiful and the staff is really nice and fun. we had some little disagreements at first but then it we talked and everything went right. i really recommend to anyone who wants to learn more about moroccan culture and stay in a respectful and peaceful household. thank you 💖

Leaving the hostel after a month and a half volunteering through Worldpackers is way harder than I thought. The hostel is super cute, the team works with such joy, and Ghassan is a great host who really helps you experience the local culture. The work is super chill, and I had the best time enjoying the life on the coast, all the amazing maroccan food, and trying to surf (mostly swallowing the ocean 😅). Highly recommend this spot to anyone coming next. Shukran, shukran! 🏄🏼♀️☀️

I arrived motivated and willingly worked extra hours, but my flexibility was taken for granted. The manager repeatedly contacted me during my break and once I was woken at 7:30 a.m. with people bursting in my room while I was still sleeping. When I kindly asked for my rest time to be respected, he interrupted me, dismissed my experience and responded aggressively. Only food and accommodation were provided out of the advertised benefits. Very inappropriate jokes and questions were also made by the manager. Volunteers deserve dignity and boundaries. I definitely do not suggest this place!!

My stay at the hostel was mixed. The accomodation itself and Tamraght are both wonderful. I was introduced to Moroccan culture, good food, had access to surf equipment, etc. However, there were some miscommunications at times and I felt that tasks and expectations were not always clearly expressed. This led to disagreements at times which I think could be improved with better communication. Overall, I am grateful for my experience and for the hospitality that I was shown, there are some great people here and the other volunteer was exceptional.

Honnêtement, j'en suis désolée mais je ne recommande pas ce volontariat. Je ne m'y retrouvais pas car nous n'avions pas de manière permanente les services qui étaient inscrits sur le site (surf et dîners). Concernant les tâches que nous devions faire, elles ne correspondaient pas totalement non plus, beaucoup plus de ménage que prévu. Lorsque j'ai donc averti l'hôte que j'écourterai mon séjour car ça ne correspondait pas à ce qui était prévu alors que nous travaillions 5H par jour (malhonnête) et qu'une nuit avec petit-déjeuner coûtait ici 10/15€, sa réaction fut assez déplacée et absurde.
