I felt at home with David and his Family! I loved to be there and I just felt sad when I had to leave. The work is really nice, and flexible and the team makes it enjoyable. Always there is a good vibe in the house with guests and volunteers, many barbeques, surf sessions, hikings, sunsets, etc. It is an experience to live and learn exchanging ideas with because people hears you I definitely will come back if I can, but in the meanwhile I will miss u all! Had a great time at the the surf the surf the surf camp! the other volunteers and staff were the best and i really enjoyed the chance to live so close to both the beach and the surf the surf the surf camp! the accommodation situation was a bit confusing at first as i ended up moving rooms a couple times to accommodate for when the hostel was fully booked but the rooms & bathrooms are all comfy and clean so it wasn't too bad. the shifts themselves were also very straightforward and your two days off were always back to back. thank you david and amanda for having me and making me feel so welcome!

Its hard to find the words to describe my experience there. David and Amanda were the warmest hosts I ever had and I genuinely left feeling part of their family! I had the chance to surf a few times, work is fair and the region is really nice to explore as well! Forever will be part of the the surf the surf the surf camp family 🩵

I had such a nice time here!! Everyone was super welcoming from the start and the other volunteers made the experience even more fun :) The surf lessons were a highlight too, just be aware that depending on your shifts you might not make it to every lesson. Cascais is such a beautiful place to live in for a while and definitely worth exploring :)

I had a wonderful time here and felt at home from the very beginning. Everything was explained well, and they always took time to answer my questions. The whole Family became very dear to me, and I always felt supported and listened to whenever i had any concerns. The work was easy and flexible, which I really appreciated. I'm very grateful for this experience and for the kindness i received. It was truly unforgettable, and i will miss it a loooot! Thank you for everything 💛
