I'm so grateful for the opportunity to volunteer with Uberto and Elvira 💖 I'm taking with me wonderful memories, delicious meals, and lifelong friends. They were attentive to every need and warmly included us in their daily lives. The tasks varied each day, so you will learn all sorts of things: harvesting (my favourite), assembling pots, making jam, etc. Jeferson and Naiara, who work there, were fantastic too. All the guest facilities are in excellent condition, as are the green spaces, and the farm itself. Already missing those fresh mirtilos🫐🫐 I'd definitely look forward to going back!

Uberto and Elvira are an exemplary couple. People of rare character, fair, generous, and with a kindness that feels real, not just spoken.
My wife and I have felt at home since day one. It wasn't just lodging: it was true warmth. They treated us with a gentleness and an attention that we carry in our hearts. My wife and I don't have enough words to thank you; you are the kind of hosts you never forget. Eternal gratitude for welcoming us with so much heart. We carry you with us.

We had a very pleasant stay. The hosts were attentive, kept everything that had been agreed and welcomed us very well. Elvira introduced us to delicious homemade foods, and we had direct contact with the blueberry production: harvesting, cultivation and the process of jams and labeling. We learned a lot, which made the fruit we already loved even more valuable. The staff were very attentive, and both the meals and the stay were excellent. They respected all the schedules and it was a very positive experience for us.

My time at Sítio la casa was truly special. Since I arrived, Elvira and Uberto welcomed me with open arms and made me feel part of the family. The work team is incredible; I not only learned about cultivation, but it was also the perfect space to improve my Portuguese every day. You can see the hosts' care that nothing is missing for the volunteers, and they prepare an exquisite meal (Elvira is an artist in the kitchen). I leave very grateful for their hospitality and for everything shared. An experience I will cherish with much affection 🧉

Uberto and Elvira are excellent hosts. They did everything to make my stay there comfortable and peaceful. Every day there was delicious food. The farm workers were very kind people and I was able to learn more about Brazilian culture from another perspective thanks to my daily work together with them.
The agreements were kept exactly as initially agreed.
The farm is a very beautiful place to disconnect from the city's noise and to reconnect with oneself, nature, and animals.
