After spending 1 month in the coliving with Toshi and Megumi, I can truly say that this time spent there has been one of the most beautiful experiences of my life. They immediately make you feel at home and integrate you in their project and vision. I have also enjoyed learning and practicing Japanese sustainable building techniques like plastering, woodcrafting. They've made also great efforts to introduce me to their very welcoming community and for that I am forever grateful :) And for the cherry on top : Private the coliving available 24/7 , I think this speaks for itself ;) I am coming back!!

I felt like part of a community during my volunteering, I always felt welcome, I met new people and tried new activities and lots of new Japanese food, working on repairing the house also helped me to learn new things and new skills. The place is surrounded by nature, making it perfect for someone looking for an authentic Japanese life experience. Having my own room, and specially the coliving at home to use anytime made the experience even better. I'm very grateful for my time in the coliving 🫶🏻

This was the best volunteering experience! Helping to naturally transform the the coliving house was incredibly rewarding, and I learned so much along the way. What truly sets this place apart is how much your time and effort are respected and valued. Toshi is the absolute best host you could ask for—we shared so many fantastic barbecue nights! The surrounding nature is breathtaking, and I witnessed some of the most spectacular sunsets and star-filled skies of my life here. If you want to build something meaningful with a great community, this is it!

I had the best time in the coliving! The goal is to help renovate the house and prepare it to become a the the coliving space. I got to help with everything from tearing things apart to building walls and plastering. Toshi was super flexible and always made sure everyone felt comfortable while working. Volunteers get their own rooms and unlimited access to the coliving, plus Toshi took us on so many adventures around the area and introduced us to the local community. I have made so many great memories here. Thank you, Toshi and Megumi. I will definitely be back to visit!
