Program Details

Welcome to an experience that combines rural nature tourism with biotechnology and fungiculture. Our program aims to create a genuine exchange: we open the doors to our glamping and lodging project in Boyacá to practically teach you about the cycle of mushroom cultivation, while you help us maintain the harmony, order, and beauty of the facilities. We are looking for nature enthusiasts eager to learn and collaborate in an environment of mutual respect and teamwork.

Activities & Shift

The volunteer program requires a commitment of 32 hours per week, distributed in shifts of 6 hours per day. Since we are a lodging and glamping project, weekends (Friday, Saturday and Sunday) are when we need the most support, so those days the shifts are indispensable. Your days off will be scheduled during the week (for example, Monday and Tuesday).

The rotating daily tasks include:

Hospitality and Cleaning: Cleaning, order, and meticulous preparation of the glampings and common areas, especially on days with the highest guest flow.

Fungiculture: Practical support in handling, monitoring, irrigation, and harvest within the mushroom cultivation.

Gardening: Basic maintenance, irrigation and beautification of the gardens and outdoor trails of the place.

Rules

Weekend availability: Absolute commitment to collaborate on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays, which are the busiest days at the glamping.

Punctuality in shifts: Strictly adhere to the morning schedules to ensure the lodging is immaculate for guests.

Extreme hygiene and order: Deep cleaning is fundamental, both in the mushroom laboratory/cultivation areas and in the glamping zones and the assigned lodging space.

Respect for the guest: Maintain a kind, discreet, and respectful attitude toward the privacy and rest of those who visit us.

Care of the environment: Conscious use of resources, waste separation, and respect for the quiet of the rural area.
