This was my first volunteering experience, and unfortunately it was disappointing. There was very little communication between Denis, the owner, and the manager, so expectations were unclear. Although the agreement was 5 hours of work, it felt like the owner expected a full-time cleaner rather than a volunteer. Instead of addressing concerns directly, she spoke behind volunteers' backs. Also, there is no Wi-Fi in the rooms, making remote work difficult. It did not work out for me.

Lindo el lugar, buena la cama. Las tareas que nos dieron fueron duras pero se lograron sin problemas. Nunca trabajamos más de las horas acordadas. Nos atendieron bien como voluntarios

Mi experiencia en la pousada fue muy buena. El hostel es hermoso y súper relajante. Las tareas pueden ser pesadas y hay harto que hacer, por eso es clave mantener la comunicación y ser claros desde el principio. Rafael y Dennis fueron muy simpáticos. Yo apoyé incluso más de lo que se me pedía, por decisión propia. También dejé toda la lavandería ordenada, así que si van, por favor mantengan ese orden, ya que hay muchas habitaciones y se necesita organización.
