I had a great time volunteering at the School. Lauren was very flexible if you preferred helping with the little kids in the morning or in the afternoon with the older students, we changed it up each day! The tasks include assisting the teachers, helping with pronunciation, supporting the kids and being involved in the fun activities. It's great to see the impact they have created for the students. You get Saturday and Sunday off as the school isn't open. We got a private the school which included a bathroom and a kitchen! Felt like luxury after backpacking. We will definitely be back!

Wow what a rewarding experience! Lauren and Kevin are super supportive and flexible. All the staff at the school have done such a great job helping the students learn and improve their English skills. This was my first time volunteering at a local school and I will definitely do it again. Leaving made me realize what an impact your help gives to the students, and it allows you to immerse yourself more in the Guatemalan locals. the school provided has a tortilla stand and a mini grocery store underneath, and is only a 5 minute walk from the school. I will definitely return! Muchas gracias!
