It was one of the most unforgettable experiences I've ever had in nature. Our hosts, Analina and Aleş, were incredibly welcoming and supportive, helping me settle into a new way of life and adapt to the local environment. The tasks were physically demanding at times, but I found most of them surprisingly meditative—almost like a workout that allowed me to slow down, stay present, and focus entirely on what I was doing. Every moment was genuinely rewarding, and the whole experience was exactly what I had hoped for. I would love to return someday, and I'll certainly miss everyone!

Jeonghyun, or Amira, as she told us to call her, was such an absolute sweetheart! She was always so cheerful and eager to work. She wanted to try everything and always gave her best. Seeing her genuinely excited about everyday things like stars and cows truly made this an outstanding experience. She brought a lot of positive energy to our place. The week flew by way too fast. We wish she could have stayed longer and really hope our paths cross again soon. We miss you already!

I had a lovely experience volunteering here on my own! I helped with many different tasks, including moving firewood and poles, making a wooden sign, organizing nails, caring for and feeding the donkeys, taking them out to graze, preparing and spreading compost, and working in the garden. When I got sick, the hosts were very understanding and adapted the tasks so I could still help while feeling comfortable. I also met and hung out with other volunteers from different countries, which made the experience even more fun.

Thank you Analina and Ales for being such kind hosts. They were nice enough to show me around the area during my free time. What is described is what we receive as volunteers. The work isn't hard but perhaps for someone who doesn't have experience may think otherwise. Great location and a cozy house. Burro and Asna will be missed.

We had an amazing experience at the organization. Aleš and Analina are great hosts, who care a lot about you and try to make your stay as enjoyable as possible. In our spare time they showed us around and shared their huge knowledge about Slovenia, the environment, animals and funghi. We loved the donkeys Asna and Burro and miss them a lot! The work on the steep terrain is hard but both are super understandable and flexible. Working hours are flexible but depend on the sun/ heat. We had some cool tasks like building a shed. And the vegan food was awesome! High recommendation! :)

My partner and I stayed for 11 days. We really enjoyed the time with Analina, Aleš and the donkeys Asna & Burro. They really tried their best to make us feel comfortable and offered to take us to events and other places. Even though I fell sick for a day, there was no problem with me taking my time to recover. They even made some soup, that I could eat. The tasks were really physically demanding, but also fun. We helped create some structures on the farm and took care of the donkeys while learning about the surrounding nature, animals and about sustainability. We hope to someday visit again.
