The farm was an amazing experience. The place is beautiful and immersed in the mountains of Arbeláez. You get to live surrounded by nature while still being able to walk to town in just 20 minutes. Felipe is an amazing host who loves sharing his knowledge about how to take care of nature. The work hours were clearly set, and while the work is outdoors with nature, it isn't exhausting at all. It really felt like we became part of the family with Felipe, his mom and his 2year old son. The Finca was more rural than expected, but it was also a perfect getaway into nature. The work is hard, and Felipe knows this, so we adjusted when necessary or we're able to go to the river for a break. The nature is beautiful, the river refreshing and the amount of butterflies magical. They also have the most cuddly cats. We were the first volunteers he hosted, and the project has just started, so keep in mind that you are working to a bigger goal, I am excited to see the finca flourish! ✨😍🦋

Félipé is a very friendly and funny man who puts people at ease very quickly. His mother is very kind and taught us a lot about the local flora and about the culture.
I had a very good experience, the tasks were fine (only in the morning).
For the area of improvement: I think it would be better to communicate more clearly what the volunteers will be doing rather than learning on the day itself what we would be doing, but I am certain this is justified by a lack of volunteering experience at the moment.
Big plus: the cooking is delicious and abundant!

Hi there! The experience in the house was incredible! The house is surrounded by a wide variety of fruits, plants and natural spaces that make the experience even more special, and I was able to learn about the different crops and their conservation. Óscar and his mom were very kind and provided me with a very comfortable experience. I also had the opportunity to share with international travelers and enjoy amazing spaces such as the river near the farm, perfect for relaxing and disconnecting.

Look no further, this place is wonderful with wonderful people!! Oscar is the person who brings good cheer into your life! You will be immersed in the heart of nature with the river just a few minutes away and hundreds of butterflies of all kinds fluttering over the water! The food was also excellent but what I will remember is a guy who does everything to make you feel good! Thanks Oscar, see you soon!!
