The Experience

Espaço Lendas - Conexão e Unidade was born from an impact project carried out by Eduzz, a digital education-focused platform that seeks to transform its surroundings. The site, spanning 15 hectares, with a stream, an orchard, and trails, used to be a children's camp that now redefines its activities, maintaining the commitment to preservation and sustainability while adding the energy of human development and self-discovery.

My experience at the Lendas space was wonderful, the place is isolated, surrounded by nature. João and Manu, who are responsible for the site, welcomed me and I was treated very well; the accommodations are comfortable and the kitchen is very well equipped. The work is calm, with simple tasks and flexible hours, all very collaborative; it was one of the best experiences I have had volunteering.

A beautiful experience in connection with the family and a huge project to sustain and support ecological learning and development and appropriate pedagogies. I hope to return soon !!

Volunteering is a good option for anyone in the region with a specific goal; Sorocaba isn't very touristy, but it's a nice city with friendly people. Coffee and lunch during the week are very good, and the volunteering activities are calm.

That was a sensational experience, the people who work there are super polite, respectful, and very nice people; specifically, where I spent most of the time was with Ari; he is a sensational guy; I spent time helping in the garden, helped with the project a bit, unloading things, and so on... The food is great, the breakfast is excellent, and the yellow house is beautiful, sensational.

I really enjoyed the experience, everyone was very welcoming, each in their own way, I felt at home with a new family 🫶 If I were to name them here, it would be a long list! The house I stayed in is very comfortable and next to volunteering, it is complete; I didn’t even need the project towel nor the project bed linen, I could cook calmly on the endthe project week and holidays. The time of work is short and very calm, with coffee from Celia and fruits available throughout the day! The city has plenty of cultural events and parks. I recommend going on the Citytour bus ride on the endthe project week (free). Recomen
