Rules
House Rules for Lighthouse Hostel Volunteers
Welcome to Lighthouse Hostel, a project we are building with a lot of effort and dedication. As part of our team, it is essential that we all follow some basic rules so the hostel runs as smoothly as possible and everyone can enjoy a pleasant atmosphere.
1. Punctuality and responsibility
Fulfill the assigned shifts: Be punctual at the time agreed for each task (reception, cleaning, etc.). Punctuality is key to the good operation of the hostel.
Commitment to the tasks: Each volunteer has assigned responsibilities that must be carried out seriously. If you cannot fulfill your shift or task, please notify in advance.
2. Respect for the space and others
Keep the common spaces clean: Make sure the common areas (kitchen, lounge, bathroom, etc.) are tidy and clean after use.
Respect for others' rest: Avoid disruptive noises, especially at night. The rest of our guests is essential for the hostel's atmosphere.
Communicate in a respectful manner: Maintain a kind, respectful, and open attitude with both the team and the guests.
3. Use of space and facilities
Care of the facilities: Take care of the furniture and common areas. The hostel is a shared place, so it is essential to treat objects and spaces with respect.
Access to restricted areas: Only enter areas designated for volunteers. If you need to access other areas, make sure you have the proper authorization.
4. Schedules and teamwork
Respect the work shifts: Volunteers have a fixed schedule that must be respected.
