I spent 4 weeks at Casa Coral and had a very positive experience. Although I applied for reception and ended up working in the restaurant instead, I can't really complain. Conditions are top-notch! Volunteers stay in a hotel room with a balcony, A/C, private bath, and rooftop terrace with spectacular views. Three meals daily are prepared by professional chefs, with free hot drinks always available. Snorkel gear, kayaks, and paddle boards are also free. The island is beautiful and unspoiled by mass tourism. The work atmosphere is relaxed and all the staff are super friendly. Highly recommended!

My experience was incredible, I truly loved everything. Everyone was super friendly, and Esteban is a beautiful human being who makes sure you’re never lacking anything. There are plenty of activities to enjoy in your free time. The island is very underrated, but honestly, it’s better that way than being overwhelmed by masses of tourists.

It was actually hard to leave, because the love I received from the whole team made me feel at home.

Casa Coral was a beautiful retreat with stunning waters & coral reefs, good for relaxation. While my four-week stay was enriching, communication barriers due to my beginner Spanish level affected my experience. There was a lack of structured & no scheduled shifts. The WiFi is unreliable if you work remote. Occasionally, my clothes returned from the laundry with rust stains. Despite these challenges, the warmth of the staff & other volunteers along with the natural beauty of the surroundings made Casa Coral an appreciated destination.

It was a really nice experience, the staff was amazing, the place à paradise.I had the chance to share a little bit with the owner and he is really nice! There were somethings that I didn't like, for example, the communication with the manager, the activities were never clear, he didn't tell you at what time you were going to help, there were a lot of days that in the same day we didn't know what to tobut he asked to be always available. That wasn't really cool if you wanted to plan a day outside of the hotel or just chill. Communication and leadership could improve. Thanks for everything!

I really couldn't wish for a better month in Isla Fuerte!! Everyone was super nice even though I didn't spoke very good Spanish at the beginning. The island is just incredible and the water activities that you can do whilst there are amazing ( paddle boarding, snorkelling , kayaking and scuba diving just to mention a few!) And if you want to, you can also get PADI certified. They were super flexible about working hours and my dietary restrictions as well, so they truly were amazing. If you don't know whether to go or not, make yourself a favour and do it… you won't regret it at all! ;)

A wonderful person full of eagerness to learn and also very willing to teach. They helped us at the hotel with customer service tasks, and their attention was always excellent. They are a multicultural, responsible, respectful, and kind person.

It's a volunteer program that offers you very good conditions. Regarding accommodation, the volunteers' room is shared by only 3 people, has air conditioning and a private bathroom. Regarding meals, they are varied and very good. The tasks are mainly at the reception, but you also collaborate in other areas. They have a system that manages reservations, which makes information management very organized. You have access to activities such as kayaking, stand-up paddleboarding, snorkeling, and you can also participate in the tours that guests schedule. A great experience ✨

Experiencing this experience at Casa Coral was very special for me. I loved everything: the place, the energy, the staff and the magic of Isla Fuerte. The staff is very kind; they are always willing to help and the support during volunteering is constant. Additionally, the people on the island are wonderful and make everything even more special. They welcomed me very warmly and I take away beautiful memories, new friendships and unforgettable moments. I would definitely come back again. Highly recommended! 💙🌴☀️

At Casa Coral I realized that volunteering is much more than exchanging hours of my time for housing and meals. It’s about learning to live together, to clean, to help where needed, and to be part of something, a team, more like a big family. Between tasks, laughter, and conversations, Isla Fuerte left me with people and lessons I will carry far beyond this island. The volunteering itself is excellent; I highly recommend it!

I really had a very good experience. Everything agreed upon was fulfilled; the atmosphere is calm and respectful. The food was one of the aspects I enjoyed the most: it was always very tasty and varied.

In your free time you can enjoy the sea, practice water sports, and explore the island, which is truly beautiful. In addition, the local community is very welcoming; people make you feel part of the place, which makes the place even more special.

I’m super grateful for the experience, I learned a lot, and I’m taking away very fond memories.
