Program Details
Our farm school is hosting a special program from December 6–10, developed and led by visiting university students. They will design and run their own educational project, teaching local children through hands-on, farm-based learning experiences. Volunteers will support the daily running of the program — helping coordinate activities, assisting the university team, and engaging directly with the children. It's a unique chance to be part of a community-driven education initiative while living and working on a farm.
Activities & Shift
Daily activities may include: helping set up learning spaces and materials, assisting university students during lessons and workshops with children, supervising kids during breaks/activities, supporting farm-based tasks tied to the program (gardening, animal care, nature walks, etc.), and helping with general hosting duties (meals, logistics, cleanup). Shifts are typically in the morning and early afternoon, Monday to Friday, with some flexibility depending on the day's schedule. Exact hours will be shared closer to the event.
Our farm can be quite cold at night, you may want to consider bringing long pants & jacket for your own comfort!
