The hostel is a beautiful place filled with art and character. It's more of a boutique hotel than a hostel. The charming town of Toro is nestled in the mountains with picturesque views from the terrace. Antonio is an awesome host. He and his family are so welcoming. I felt at home during my stay and extended it to continue my amazing experience. Antonio showed me the local culture and hidden gems of the area. I highly recommend this incredible place for a memorable and enriching experience!

This was my first Worldpackers experience, and I truly enjoyed my stay. Although I didn't meet Antonio in person, he was easy to communicate with over text, and his sister Aurora was the best host. She was welcoming and took the volunteers to some events with her friends, which immersed me into the local culture. You decide your painting schedule, so I painted an average of 6 hours a day and took 2 days off during the 12 days that I stayed. Toro is a quiet town with peaceful nature surrounding it, and the locals were friendly. You can also take a day trip to Naples or the beach by bus.

This was a wonderful experience! Communciation with the host Antonio was amazing, he was always super helpful, even before my stay even officially started, for example offering tipps and tricks about how to get to Toro the easiest way, even with him being in a different country at the time. I especially appreciated Antonios sister who welcomed us volunteers eith open arms and fid her best to immerse us in the local community, taking us to local festivities or orgainzing meet ups eith her friends. The work itself was also very nice, we were basically given complete creative freedom.

My time at the hostel was really awesome! The tasks were easy and straightforward. I just communicated through text to Antonio and asked if the spot I chose to paint was okay to him. I didn't take the 2 days off since the painting per day was minimal. Lots of memories made with other volun. When we got there, the other volunteers had not painted much because there was a paint shortage in the house which took a day while we were there to fix. Though,It wasn't really a problem to me since I just got there. About 4-5 hours per day of painting. The bedrooms aren't the same in the photo.

My experience at the hostel was delightful. The best part was meeting the other volunteers and working, eating, and hanging out together. We cooked for each other and enjoyed evenings on the terrace. it was really like a family. The work was also very enjoyable. There's a lot of independence and freedom in selecting what to paint, and I appreciate that. I will say that during my stay we were very short on painting supplies so couldn't start my painting until the hosts had time to get us some more. Overall, this was an amazing experience especially because it was shared. Thank you!!!
