It was a good time! Our host Weanu was really accommodating and made sure we were comfortable and settled. We made sourdough together and as he's a doctor he taught us some basic massage and medicine techniques! It was great staying with a local and meant we got to learn a lot about each other and our respective cultures!

We had a wonderful time and can't recommend the experience enough if you're looking for an enthusiastic and homely volunteering experience. The accommodation was clean, comfortable and we had the added privacy of our own toilet and bathroom. A standout was the depth of the cultural exchange. We spent hours engaged in discussions about life, philosophy, and our respective cultures, exchanging ideas and learning so much from one another. Weanu also shared his practical knowledge on brewing a classic coffee, baking sourdough, and massage techniques. Thank you for opening your home to us !
