Bruno was such a lovely host from day 1. The whole experience was amazing, Faro was beautiful and the people was really cute. I met some amazing girls and we had such a really good time getting to know around. The work was pretty tough as it was a moved season, but overall my experience was amazing!🤍

This was my first Worldpackers experience and I loved it! We stayed in Faro, in a very large and nice room. About the food: we requested the ingredients we needed to cook, and they always brought everything to us asap. Sometimes we worked more, but then we got more days off. Cristina, who managed our work was really nice and flexible if we wanted our day off to be a specific day. The work was tiring sometimes, I guess because of high season. I don't speak any Portuguese, so sometimes it was hard to communicate with the other workers.

The experience in Faro was disorganised and isolating. My accommodation was changed last minute twice, and there were no other volunteers staying with me. There was no "hostel," just several apartments with teenagers staying in them. I had to clean these apartments alone. Cristina was kind but other cleaning staff were rude. The team made basically no effort to make me feel included. Faro is nice, as is the accommodation and free food, but I left early as I did not enjoy it. One night I got locked out and no-one helped – Natalia told me not to call her as she is not my "emergency contact."
