I really liked staying at S&S, especially because the host the hostel other volunteers were really welcoming. The workload was fair, the hostel schedule was pretty flexible, which gave me many opportunities to look around the area, especially with the great location and close proximity to many interesting places . And if there were any problems (be it with guests or otherwise), they were addressed and handled pretty quickly. Thank you for having me, it was great fun! :)

I had a really fun time at the hostel! The work is easy and you get the hang of it quickly the hostel other volunteers are always there to help. Drogheda is a small city and a good location to explore the Boyne Valley the hostel east coast of Ireland. By far the best part of volunteering was meeting the other volunteers. It was amazing to get to know each and everyone of you guys and hanging out with you ♥️ I already miss you

The workload is very fair, the communication between the host and volunteers is excellent, and you're given plenty of flexibility to organize your schedule to balance your responsibilities with any personal trips you'd like to take. The hostel's location is also incredibly convenient. I had the opportunity to meet travellers from all over the world, and I learned so much from every conversation. Above all, I'm incredibly grateful for the other volunteers the hostel wonderful friendships I made during my time there. I had an amazing time at the hostel and miss it already.

Fernanda was an exceptional volunteer and a true joy to have at our hostel. Always ready to help, she brought amazing energy and constantly brought the whole team together for fun activities, creating a strong sense of community.
She truly made a difference during her stay, and we all grew very fond of her. We’ll miss her dearly and would happily welcome her back anytime.

Volunteering at the hostel was such a nice experience for me :)
I Learnt a lot about the work while making new friends between other volunteers and guests! You can feel part of this family really soon, surely thanks to Rory who is very easygoing and ready to help in every occasion.
The three shifts rotation gave me the chance to improve multiple skills, and doing it in this hostel allowed me to speak with people from around the world, listening to many interesting and inspiring stories.
Thank you everyone for making this experience so special, I definitely recommend it <3

My trip was incredible! The hostel is very well located and extremely cozy. Rory is an exceptional host — very welcoming and attentive.
It was a wonderful experience where I was able to practice my English, meet amazing people, and enjoy plenty of good beer. I highly recommend this experience to everyone.
Ireland is a fascinating country, with friendly people and a great variety of pubs. 🇮🇪🍺🍀🍻

I spent a month at the hostel and met some amazing people! However, many of the guests have been there for a long time and can be weird. I felt uncomfortable at times. Fortunately, the other volunteers were very supportive and make the experience more enjoyable. The work is very flexible and we rotate between three different shifts. Drogheda isn't the most spectacular destination in Ireland, but it's well located, just a 30 minute train ride from Dublin.
