The experience

The WP for this position must be very sociable, have high level of energy, VERY good communication skills (fluent english & portuguese) and be fit to do Hikes and long walks.

You will be responsible to plan, inform, invite and lead groups to do our Free Tours, to go to Parties and promote Bar Games (Beer Pong, Karaoke, etc).
Also important to get guests contacts, take pictures and make videos of the whole thing!

What you offer

25 hours of help per week

Party Promoter: Help organise and promote parties and social activities.

Tour Guide: Organize and lead tours around the city.

What you get

2 days off per week

Shared Dorm: You will have a bed in a shared room, which means you will share the same room with other travelers.

Requirements

Fluent Portuguese

Between 20 and 45 years old

Only hosts solo volunteers (doesn’t accept couples or partners)

Be from outside Brazil

Flights, Travel Insurance, Internal Transportation and Visa

Program Details

1st day off.
2nd and 3rd day: learn about the Hostel, rules and benefits. You may start working.
The 1st time you will go on a Tour, someone experienced will go with you to help.
After that you are responsible for the Tour.
We will help you to plan Bar Games, Parties, Tours and activities.

Activities & Shift

Between 2 and 4 weekly Free Tours / Parties.
1 or 2 weekly Bar Games (Karaoke, Beer Pong, drinking games, etc)
If needed, your help may be required in other activities to complete the 25 weekly hours.
