Where to begin... My experience was diversified, eye opening, adaptive, uncertain at times, full of love, joy, dancing, singing and a warm welcome from the locals. Honestly, too much to be able to fit on this page. Eyes and attention will be on you constantly if your a muzungu (white person) but not in a bad way, so you learn to adapt to the constant attention from others. Ugandan staple foods include; matooke(cooked unripe bananas), rice, beans, peanut sauce, posho( corn cake). My heart and passion during this experience has been at San Martino Primary School.
