Everyone, including all staff, pay to volunteer at this ngo. Therefore, in order to help pay for the expense of upkeep of a castle, each volunteer is required to pay 5€ per night. However, during Sept to June you get: 3 free meals a day, 6 free snacks per week and the choice of any free, donated food provided by the local food bank. So, you are getting a lot of benefits for 5€ per night.
