I absolutely loved my volunteer experience at the hostel, it truly felt like a home away from home for me! The 3 weeks flew by way too fast! The hostels environment is so cozy and all the staff are really friendly and welcoming :) Dresden is a lovely city, I personally found heaps to do to fill my time. The hostel is in a great location in the new neighbourhood. The volunteer tasks were fun and I enjoyed the freedom we had to be creative with the activities we chose to run for the guests. Make the most of it and really immerse yourself in the hostels atmosphere!

My experience at the hostel was incredible! ❤️ From the beginning, I felt very welcome. the hostel is a truly special place, with a warm, friendly and familiar atmosphere. For two months, it was my home. The friendships you make with the other volunteers are unique and very special. You share your days, work, meals and so many moments together. A big thank you to everyone who works here for always being so kind, open and willing to help. I'm leaving with amazing memories and a little piece of the hostel in my heart. 🥹❤️ I highly recommend this experience!

I honestly don't know where to begin. My time at the hostel was unforgettable and I'm so grateful I got to be part of this community. Dresden is an amazing city but what truly makes the hostel special is the people. Martin, Bill, Franka, Jula, Paulina and the team were incredibly kind, welcoming and supportive, creating a place where volunteers and guests feel at home. Couldn't ask for a better first volunteering experience!! Loved every second of staying at Lollis and exploring Dresden :) The city is super lively combined with nature. As a volunteer I had quite a lot of free time and the activities were super easy and fun to host! Martin and the other staff members were the sweetest, always made sure to help out in any situation and made me feel like I truly belong in their team. I definitely plan on coming back as I learnt so much from this experience and meeting travelers from all over the world was a blessing! I recommend this a lot ❤️

One of the best experiences of my life! After my Erasmus, I never thought I could experience such a fascinating multicultural environment again. Thanks to this volunteering experience, I met amazing people from all over the world and made unforgettable friendships. The only downside? Three weeks flew by! the hostel team was always kind, respectful and supportive, and I felt at home in less than three days. They were also incredibly open to my ideas, from hiking trips to game nights in the park, giving me the freedom to be creative and actively contribute to the activities and events.

Loved staying with the hostel!!! A wonderful time with the staff, volunteers, and the guests. The tasks were great and fulfilling! I did end up asking to leave earlier as I did not realize how small Dresden was. Not a reflection on the hostel at all, just a smaller city than I imagined. It was also agreed that I could take short trips and I had planned one, but then later found out there was only one other volunteer during that time. Once again, just logistics not on the hostel just important to note for next volunteers to check! Thank you for the lovely time, sorry it was cut short!

A very nice hostel in a perfect location in Neustadt. All the staff and guests were very kind and welcoming. The hostel is quite social so it's easy to meet other travelers. The job is mostly doing events and bringing guests together, for example going to a bar or playing boardgames. It hardly felt like work at all. It was also easy to take trips to other cities as us volunteers got to make the work schedules ourselves. I had a very good experience here and would def recommend, thank you to the whole the hostel staff!
