Very good experience

The coworkers were outstanding, everyone were excellent, some are now good friends.
The hostel is super big, has a great bar and a nice common area.
They offered yellow credits to every volunteer which we can exchange for food or drinks. The great thing is food was SUPER GOOD, but it wasn't enough to have 3 meals a day, as described.
Regarding the job, at the beginning lots of volunteers have had schedule or tasks problems. My job wasn't describe at the app contract, I applied for bartender but worked as a waiter and dishwasher at the same time. It was a very hard job.

United States

The good: The Yellow is an amazing hostel full of awesome staff members who are friendly, warm and are each truly unique unto themselves. The hostel itself is amazing and has everything you need either there or nearby. Highly recommended!!!

The bad (if you consider it bad, I don't): If you work at the bar your shifts are 10-hours long. I put this under the bad section because most people aren't used to working 10-hour shifts. Personally, I had no problem with it, but I know most people aren't used to it. The managers are respectful, fun, understanding and will work with you, talk to them :)

If what you are looking for is a unique experience in one of the most beautiful and visited cities in the world, meeting hundreds of new people every week and going out party with them, having the possibility of growing and developing your own capacities within the world of hospitality, The Yellow experience is for you. Anyway, the best thing that this volunteering leaves me is the human group, the birth of new friendships for life with people from all over the globe. Thanks Yellow for so many good times and hope to see you all again soon!

Great place to meet people and have fun!
Work as housekeeping is not difficult, some days are more tiring than others, depending on the amount of check-out, the weekly hours are respected and the days off are consecutive, which allows us to travel to other cities.
We can do all the activities of the hostel for free (tour, escape room, pasta cooking class) and we still receive monthly credits to spend in the hostel's bar or restaurant.
For me, the only bad points were changing rooms every week and and have to use the wash machine of the apartment of the volunteers that was always being used
