The experience was great, I really enjoyed getting to know Ilhabela and the whole region, and I still have a lot more to discover. The hosts are very nice and welcoming, and Frederico is always by our side when we eat. However, the hosts could improve the accommodations, our kitchen; whenever it rained, everything flooded and our room was very stuffy. Aside from that, it was an incredible experience being in Ilhabela and connecting with other volunteers, it was a great trip!

My experience at the hostel was very positive. Amauri is calm and always willing to help, especially with questions about the island. Jana is fun and brings lots of laughs, and Fred is a sweetheart. The house is simple, with a shared room, a volunteers' bathroom, and a basic kitchen. The tasks are easy and well organized, leaving time to study or rest. The location is excellent, close to the best beaches in the southern region. I recommend it for anyone who wants to get to know Ilhabela at a relaxed pace.

My stay at Gloria was very good. Personally I didn't have any problems, the owners are very loving and were always very attentive to me. Whenever I needed to ask them for something, they always took care of it for me. The schedules and shifts are very well respected and in general the conditions meet everything they send you beforehand when you make the request. If I have to leave something to improve: on hotter days the room is very, very hot.

An incredible place, the host Amauri is a fantastic person. We were very well welcomed. La Glória House has a private room and a fully equipped kitchen for the volunteers.
The tasks were simple and quiet. We had great flexibility with our schedules to take the opportunity to go sightseeing.
And the island is simply incredible.
La Glória is located close to the island's most beautiful beaches.
I recommend La Glória with its host Amauri. And I can't help but mention the house mascot. Fredy, a gentle and very playful dog. He will be missed!

Lá Glória House is a very beautiful, welcoming, and calm place. For anyone wanting to have an island experience, the city’s best beaches offer a tranquil setting to relax—it's the exact place! The host Amauri is a person with a huge heart; he made us feel at home, and we were very well received. The place provides a room and a kitchen for volunteers, with the kitchen equipped to prepare all meals on site; there is a market nearby and a bus stop to get around to all the places on the island. This was my first volunteer experience and it will stay in my memory forever.

It was my first experience as a volunteer. The guesthouse is very well located in the southern beach region, a quiet area, and if you like connecting with nature, you will love it. The host Amauri is very attentive and makes us feel part of the family. The tasks are divided into shifts, and the hours are respected. It was possible to enjoy the beaches, waterfalls, and natural pools. The setup for volunteers is a shared room and a small communal kitchen that allows us to prepare our meals. I met wonderful people whom I will carry with me for life. I highly recommend it.

I was warmly welcomed by the hosts Amauri and Jana at La Glória.
The space is super cozy and comfortable, the volunteers' room has a bathroom, and air conditioning.
The work shifts are six hours long, and those on the morning shift prepare breakfast for the guests.
Regarding the location, it is a little farther from markets and the bustle of Perequê, so you need to use the bus quite a bit, but it is near the southern beaches which, in my opinion, are the best.
For anyone seeking peace and quiet, Lá Glória is an ideal place.
I’m grateful to the hosts for having welcomed me!

My experience was unusual due to an unexpected health event. But I can say that the inn is very pretty; being on the south side of the island is much calmer than the center. The shifts are easy and the schedules are respected! The hosts Amauri and Jana are excellent people and I am very grateful for all they helped me with during my stay. Thank you for trusting, sharing your place and for all the help and calm they gave me in difficult moments, as well as Thabata, another super companion volunteer and an excellent person. Only words of thanks for them!! ♡

Before my feedback, please remember that this is a GUEST HOUSE, meaning you will volunteer at the host's house and the house rules must be obeyed.
That place is more for people who don't want a lot of hustle and parties. Good for connecting with yourself, relaxing the mind and resting. Amauri is a great guy, funny and easygoing. You will be warmly welcomed by him. Jana likes things to be well done, and she enjoys talking when possible. Fred is a docile dog, but don't give him food when he makes that look, or else he gets sick.
The southern region of Ilha Bela is quieter, with fewer noises, many beaches and hikes.

So ... that information about the bikes doesn't take precedence. I went to check and they have already been removed for a long time... but thanks for the heads up... and you're always welcome !!
