Great facilities and hostel (everything is new and super clean). I was the only volunteer for a month so I basically had a whole room to myself with private bathroom, hot water, A/C, fast wifi & free laundry. The ability to use the hostel kitchen is also a huge bonus for anyone looking to save money on food.

The work itself is super easy, although extremely boring if there aren’t many guests at the hostel.

All the local staff at the hostel are extremely friendly and I had a great opportunity to practice my Spanish with them daily.

Thanks Turtle Crew 👍🏾 Hasta Luego.

It was my first international experience and it couldn't be any better. Staff was super friendly and kind. We weren't too busy, so the manager was really flexible with my shift hours. My spanish was not really nice when I arrived, but with the help and kindness of the other staff members I was able to learn a little bit of their language. The hostel is 10/12 minutes walking away from the city center, but they have a private shuttle if you don't like walking by the beach enjoying beautiful views from San Juan del Sur. Speaking of which, SJS is a really cool place to visit! Gracias amigos
