Asli has a wonderful home and it was inspiring to watch her run her business. The rest of the team is kind, funny, and you'll learn a lot about working in a kitchen and eat lots of good food. Location is so beautiful, full of nice beaches and Turkey's public transport is pretty easy to navigate + you'll get a ride when possible. Hours are good, agreed upon and I liked the work. Beautiful, balanced experience that I would recommend and do again.

Had a great time at Asli's. Got to learn loads about Turkish food, politics, language and culture. Worked both in the house helping with the farm, and waitering at the restaurant. This place is ideal for you, if you have a background in food, and wanna get to know the Mediterranean cuisine!

I left early, as this experience didn't work for me. Beyond the farm class, you were expected to work as a server at a restaurant. Sometimes up to twelve hour days.

I want to preface this by saying that I enjoyed my time here, but there are some problems with this job that need to be discussed 1. Communication and organization are lacking. Even the description of this job on Worldpackers is wrong ( in the summer you work in a winery in Bodrum) 2. The room they gave me was really rough; it was dirty, had a broken toilet, no wifi, no drinkable water, no communal kitchen, and poisonous scorpions. I wish I could go into more detail, but this app only gives so much space. Again, I liked working here, these are just some observations to take into account

This was mostly a nice experience. The food was delicious, the house was lovely and everyone I met was very kind. However I often felt like I didn't know what was going on. There was a lack of communication about when I would be working. Also there were some very long days. I did one 12 hour one and only got two stops for 15 mins each to eat. The current description is also misleading. I had a roommate for half my the farm even though it says you get a private room. There was also no bike ready for use and I worked half of the time at a vineyard restaurant not at the farm.

Hours: sporadic but reasonable at times Location (if on site): beautiful but far from everything. Host: initial communication could be better but nice lady. Work: they work the hell out of you in those 30 hours but you do learn a lot. Co workers: great and you meet lots of people. The chef you work with (Delek) is very patient and professional. The accommodations are either at the hosts house, or on the vineyard itself. If you are on the vineyard, there are issues with the water. We (me and others in the residence on site) didn't have water for days sometimes. 3/5 if I'm being honest.

My experience was nothing short of amazing! I stayed for 4 weeks and do not regret a single second of it. I worked at the restoraunt at Karnas Vineyards as well as had the unique opportunity to assist in the wine making process. From day one everyone wanted to meet me and I could really feel that they want me there and made me a part of their family. In the beggining I shared a house with another volunteer that later left leaving me alone in the house. The house had everything I needed except a wifi connection which would have been nice.

I'm so grateful this was my first volunteering expirience, everything was way better than I could have ever imagined. After one month it was so sad to leave! I really enjoyed my time and I would love to come back one day. The schedule was flexible; the work was very fun, easy, well explained and always done as a team. Everyone was very welcoming and nice there. Thanks for this great opportunity, I'll be always grateful with you!

I had a wonderful time in Asli's home. She is a very, very busy person which can sometimes make communication difficult, but she is caring and friendly to everyone she meets. Of course I can't go without mentioning the food. At the house, at the restaurant, even in Bodrum there sooo much the farm food. I hope many more will enjoy their the farm the Bodrum the farm Class. Say hi to the house kitten for me. I'm going to miss him.

Asli and her team are all wonderful people, she is extremelly kind and an amazing chef. All the meals we ate were the farm. Communication could be better and the working hours better distributed. But overall she is flexible, understanding and lovely.
