This was my first experience volunteering in a hostel and I couldn't pick a better place. The task were easy and you had plants of time in the afternoon. Dave and Danni were great and made me feel super comfortable. Overall I really enjoyed this experience. Definitely gonna do it again

I had an amazing time in the hostel and can only recommend this experience!! Dave and Danni are both very lovely, funny and take good care of the volunteers (sweet treats included ;D). The work was easy, working hours were always respected and the workload wasn't too much, so you will have enough time to explore the small town, the beautiful nature in the surrounding area and other parts of Scotland, or you can just chill or get to know other people in the cozy lounge.

The hostel was a really great experience!! Dave is a great host, he's very funny and he loves to share chocolate :D I spent most of my time drinking tea and reading in the lounge, dave often puts on fires so it’s super cozy. The tasks and hours are easy, I had plenty of free time to explore the area as well as take trips to other parts of Scotland. I had a lot of fun and I hope to be back soon :) thank you!

I had a lovely experience at the hostel. The tasks were simple and the shifts were manageable, giving you plenty of time to explore. Dave was really kind, friendly and considerate, and Danny was very friendly and welcoming. The other volunteers were lovely, and I really enjoyed my time there ☺️ the hostel is a beautiful place to stay, especially if you enjoy the outdoors. I'm grateful for the experience and would definitely recommend it 💖

I had a really good and valuable experience! The work is easy to do, mainly keeping everything organized and running smoothly, and the working hours are respected. David is a great host, very friendly and always caring about the volunteers. It’s also a great opportunity to practice English, meet people from all over the world and explore the Highlands. The £2 buses make it easy to get around and discover the area. I highly recommend it! ❤️
